Wrexham Recycling Initiatives
There are two ongoing recycling initiatives that are being carried out by St Joseph's High School and Ysgol Clywedog with the TerracycleUK Recycling scheme.
St Joseph's Catholic and Anglican High School on Sontley Road, Wrexham are collecting:
used plastic toothbrushes
empty toothpaste tubes (and lids)
used plastic electric toothbrush heads
and Ysgol Clywedog High School on Ruthin Road, Wrexham (opposite Morissons and Aldi) are collecting:
empty crisp packets
The waste is then sent to TerracycleUK to be recycled back into plastic pellets (which is used to make plastic products to save the waste going to landfill).
(Ysgol Clywedog are collecting their waste - which is redeemed for points and money - for a Cancer charity.)
