All local authorities, schools and colleges in Wales have a legal duty to protect and promote the well-being of children under 18.

At Acton Park Primary School, safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and, under the direction of the Designated Safeguarding Lead, staff adopt and adhere to the Wrexham agreed policy to safeguard the children in our care.

We attend regular training and work diligently to keep abreast of changes and updates to working practices and our legal obligations. We work hard to foster positive relationships and work collaboratively alongside other agencies to support families.

Regular attendance at review meetings enables us to share updates and highlights out on-going commitment to maximising our children's well-being.
