Changes to the Welsh curriculum in September 2022

The world is changing and we need new ideas and creative use of technology. To address these challenges, we want to make sure that your child has the knowledge, skills and experiences they’ll need to make the most of life. Teachers and education experts from across Wales have been working together to develop the Curriculum for Wales.

At Acton, we are designing our new curriculum with the goal of immersing all children in creative, inquiry-based learning experiences that are designed to maximise children's learning potential in a fun and engaging way. By using research, guidance from the Welsh Government and cementing this with our current best-practice, we are working as a team to craft planning that is based around topic of learning. 

The world is more connected nowadays, so what they learn is more connected too. Knowledge is really important, and they will also be given the skills and experiences they need for a fast-changing world.
